Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

It's not hard to find good gluten free ice cream. However it is hard to find really good GF and dairy free ice cream that doesn't cost a fortune. And we have been missing ice cream. So this is what I made a couple days ago. It was so good. Even Ron gave his stamp of approval. I made this with the use of an $8 ice cream maker from Walmart.

1 can coconut milk
2 large ripe bananas
2 T cocoa
1 t vanilla extract
2 T honey
pinch of salt

I put everything in the blender and then dumped it into the ice cream maker. 20 minutes later this is what it looked like.

It was so good. We will definitely be making this again soon. It took great will power to not eat it all at one time!

Oh I'm so glad that you included that recipe! I saw on your facebook status that you made ice cream and I meant to ask you for the recipe. I just got an ice cream maker as part of my grad. present and it's been so fun and yummy!

Twilight is a very good book. It's not LDS, although it was written by an LDS author but the church has absolutely nothing to do with the book. I'm always reluctant to explain what the book is about because it sounds really wierd, but it's about a girl who falls in love with a vampire...ya, sounds wierd but it's very good. If you enjoy romance books with a bit of action you would love these. You read all about it on the internet. These books are bigger than Harry Potter was. They are extremely popular with all ages. You should check them out!

mmmm... sounds yummy!

and hey, I had to mention this movie I just saw called "Walmart: The High Cost of Low Prices." It's VERY disturbing. I didn't realize quite how many people were getting screwed by Walmart. It was very sickening and the end of it had me in tears. It's on OnDemand on TV here, or it's even on YouTube here:

I highly recommend watching it. Really.

We miss you guys.

Oh crap! Am I going to have to boycott Walmart too? We already are boycotting anything made in China and most plastics when possible. I'll definitely check it out.

Oh, and one more thing about Twilight. I know that Kate's in the process of reading these too. You should ask her about them. I don't do a fair justice in explaining things. I'd imagine she would do much better!
